Ashley Kidwell

Ashley joined Nautilus Entertainment Design in 2009 after receiving her MFA in theatrical lighting design from San Diego State University. Since joining the Nautilus Team she has designed multiple car exhibits and salons, coordinated follow spots for corporate shows and events, and designed the architectural lighting for several casino and cruise ship projects. Some of her more notable projects for NED include:

  • Lighting design for the General Motors exhibits at the Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, and New York International Auto Shows (2011-present).
  • Lighting design for the 2015 Chevolet Cruze launch in Detroit.
  • Associate lighting design for Qualcomm’s 25th Anniversary Museum at their San Diego campus (which was awarded an IES Award for Merit at both the local and national levels).
  • Architectural lighting design at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Arizona.
  • Architectural lighting design for Carnival Cruise Lines & Holland America’s latest ships including all restaurants, bars, lounges, retail shops, cabins, etc.

Ashley has been a member of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology since 2003.
