Tristan finished his Bachelors Degree in Theatrical Design in 2006 at San Diego State University with an emphasis in lighting and extensive studies in computer sciences, film, video, audio production, and technical direction and has been with Nautilus since 2008.
Now serving as the Senior Audio/Video Systems Designer, Tristan has led the system designs on numerous commercial and ship-board projects. Major ship projects have included new-build and retrofit system designs for Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America, Costa Crociere, and Costa Asia with designs encompassing distributed audio, production sound reinforcement, production and presentation video, control systems, entertainment & stage lighting, and outdoor LED video walls. Several ship projects also involved the design of the complete head-end and broadcast production systems for on-board IPTV and digital signage systems.

Commercial project designs have included a mix of audio, video, control and lighting system for performance spaces and distributed systems. Recent projects have included: Nighttime Lights show in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, Hollywood; The Legacy West Beer Hall and Box Garden in Plano, Texas; Choctaw Resort and Casino in Durant Oklahoma; Carnival Cruise Line terminals in California, Florida, and Texas; and numerous training, conference and BEQ facilities for the US Navy and Marine Corps.

Tristan is CTS-D certified with ongoing industry training from InfoComm, Applied Acoustics Smaart, Extron, Alcorn McBride, Audinate Dante, Crestron, AMX, Middle Atlantic, and many other industry leaders.
